Details of this campaign and lessons learned to possibly be utilized when writing the 4th volume of Shiny New Thing, where our heroine will be at her darkest hour, the end of Act IIB, behind enemy lines, trying to raise an unpopular insurrection, in the name of an unpopular and absentee ruler, without a base of power, depending on foreign mercenaries, uncertain levies, battle-hardened but recently inexperienced semi-retired veterans, and wild, feuding hill tribes.
